The Trip
Royalton CHIC Punta Cana is a fully adults-only resort where the only thing on the agenda is whatever sounds good right now. DJ pool parties, foam nights, seven restaurants, swim-out suite with a pool at your door. Lowest price point of the four options. Easiest decision.
Pool all day. Dinner together. Whatever comes after. That's the trip.
The Resort
Royalton CHIC Punta Cana is adults-only — the whole property, 18 and up, no exceptions. Not a section, not a tower — the entire resort. Diamond Club guests get dedicated butler service, a semi-private swim-out pool, a members lounge, and priority access across seven restaurants.
Our rooms: Luxury Junior Suite Swim Out Diamond Club — suites that open directly to the swim-out pool. Step out of the room and you're in the water. 35 minutes from the airport. Easy arrival, easy departure.

The Excursion
Saona Island Private Catamaran Charter
Saona Island is a protected natural park off the southeastern tip of Punta Cana — white sand, shallow turquoise natural pools, no resort infrastructure. We charter a private boat for the eight of us. Open bar, no strangers on the boat, our own schedule.
Private charter: $1,200–$1,400 flat for the group ($300–$350 per couple). Shared catamaran option runs $90–$130 per person if the group wants to save — same destination, 50-60 others on board. We've done both. The private boat is worth it.
Is This the Right Trip for BSS?

- Less "off-property" appeal than Sint Maarten or St. Lucia — Punta Cana's outside-the-resort experience is limited
- The group has done Punta Cana before — lower novelty factor if the group wants something new
- Royalton CHIC is party-forward — foam nights and DJ sets may or may not be what everyone wants by 2027
