The Trip
Breathless Riviera Cancun does exactly what Punta Cana and Jamaica do — hands you a swim-out suite, an unlimited bar, and nothing you have to plan for. Puerto Morelos keeps it quiet, and Cancun's energy is a short ride away whenever the group wants it. Closest flight, easiest transfer, and the lowest estimated cost of the five options.
Pool all day. Dinner together. One boat out to Isla Mujeres, or a straight-up booze cruise if that's more the mood. That's the whole itinerary.
One thing worth flagging: Breathless has a strong party reputation. Pool music starts around 8am and keeps going until midnight, and the daytime dress code trends skimpy across the resort. If that scene is part of the appeal for the group, this resort delivers it.
Recommended date change: shift the trip to Thursday, May 27 through Monday, May 31, 2027, which is Memorial Day. Breathless runs its bigger themed parties on the weekend, including a Friday pool party and Saturday night events, and the current May 24 to 28 dates have the group flying home right as the weekend starts.

The Excursion
Option A: Isla Mujeres Catamaran Day Trip
Full day out to Isla Mujeres — snorkeling at El Meco reef, open bar, buffet lunch at a beach club, free time on the island. $90–130/pp, plus a $20/pp reef tax paid on-site.
Option B: Booze Cruise Party Boat
3–4 hours, DJ, open bar, sandbar stop, snorkeling. $90–105/pp, plus a ~$12/pp dock fee (cash).
